Make It Happen - Ensuring graduates have access to appropriate start up support is so important when leaving University.
Providing graduate entrepreneurs start up support and mentoring will give them a better chance of success.
NCGE’s Flying Start – Make It Happen programme in partnership with HSBC, Business Link and Universities aims to support graduates leaving university looking to be their own boss.
We offer a combination of face to face programme days and online mentoring, training and resources. We offer both options as we understand that not everyone can attend face to face programme days due to other commitments or even because they don’t like group training. This way you can decide what’s best for you and mix and match the support.
So what is the Make It Happen Programme?
Face to Face Training days
Make It Happen Online system
We believe it’s important to be able to ask questions and run ideas past someone who has been there and done it. Mentors offer the facility to answer questions and explain what they did when they started in business. They also have a lot of knowledge you will not find in books or on websites.
Being an online mentoring system mentees can ask questions or upload information at a time that fits in with setting up the business. The mentor then logs in again at a time that is also convenient to them to reply. We must not forget mentors give their time for free so need to fit this in around other commitments.
What does this cost me?
The programme is government funded and the mentors give their time for free so this programme will not cost you anything financially.
How do I access the Make It Happen Programme?
